HubSpot Form
HubSpot Form shows a HubSpot form on a page, with an optional eyebrow, heading, text and image. It is mostly used on download pages.
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”- Add HubSpot Form to the page.
- In the Content group, enter the Title and optionally an Eyebrow and Description.
- Choose the Heading level: h1 when the form’s title is the page’s main heading, h2 when the page already has one. New blocks start with h1; older blocks where it was never set use h2.
- In the HubSpot form group, enter the Portal ID and Form ID from HubSpot.
- Choose the Form version that matches the form in HubSpot. See below.
- For an ebook download, fill in the Ebook download email group. See Ebook download email.
Layout
Section titled “Layout”- Without an image, the heading, text and form are centred in a narrow column.
- With an image, the content is left-aligned on the left and the image is on the right. On phones the image is shown below. Show loop adds the decorative brand loop behind the image; it has no effect without an image.
Form version
Section titled “Form version”| Option | When to use it |
|---|---|
| v2 | Forms built with HubSpot’s legacy form editor. |
| New | Forms built with HubSpot’s current form editor. |
A block where Form version was never set uses New. If the form stays empty on the page, the version probably does not match the form. Form region only applies to New and can usually stay empty.
No negative margin in the Section style group only affects New forms. Those are pulled slightly up and left to line up with the text, because HubSpot adds space around them. Turn it on if a form looks shifted.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The form loads when a visitor scrolls near it, not with the page.
- Successful submissions are reported in analytics under the Conversion category: E-book download (default), Webinar sign-up or Other form. Set it on every form that is not a download, so downloads stay countable on their own.
- Track ChatGPT Ads conversion in the Visibility & tracking group also reports it to ChatGPT Ads: E-book download and Other form as
lead_created, Webinar sign-up asregistration_completed. See ChatGPT Ads tracking.
